Free Trip To South Molle For Lucky Golfer

One lucky golfer taking part in the Sydney Morning Herald NSW Handicap Match Play Golf Championship will win a a free trip for two to South Molle Island.
The pair will fly there and back with East-West Airlines, take part in daily golf tournaments, including a 36 hole open championship catering for all grades, and attend golfing clinics conducted by Greg Norman's mentor, Charlie Earp from Royal Queensland, and Wynnum professional Paul King.
In addition they will be able to visit the coral reef and take cruises to Lindeman Island and Whitehaven Beach.
They will also have the use of facilities such as water sports, a disco, tennis courts, a swimming pool and sauna as well, as night entertainment, which includes a fancy dress dinner.
The winner of the trip, which lasts from November 8 to 15, will be announced with the next draw for the tournament on August 15.
Other prizes this year include;
* A free golfing holiday week in Tasmania, with all expenses paid and a chance to play on the leading courses in that State. Further details will be announced in the future.
* Free tickets to many major golf tournaments, including the $300,000 NSW Open at The Lakes and the $300,000 Queensland Open.
* Free entry into pro-ams, including two spots in the Australian PGA Championship pro-am.
* Hundreds of free entries to race meetings throughout the State.
* Free copies of The Golf Courses of Sydney, compiled by Graeme Ryan and Darrell Fazio, which gives details of every course in the Sydney area.
* Nights out at St George Leagues Club and vouchers for $50 worth of liquor at Allan Crossley's Beauchamp Hotel to be announced with every draw.
So as not to infringe a player's amateur status, all prizes in excess of the maximum laid down by the Australian Golf Union will be drawn from the original entrants and not based on playing ability.

COURSE FLOODING
Home players, whose courses are still not in operation because of the recent rain, should play at their opponent's course.
If this is not possible, the two players should endeavour to play at a neutral venue.
